Here are some opportunities for those interested in our research to join us or work with us for different career phases.
Regardless of your phase, support for foreign researchers, outlined in this page, are available upon your contacts.
Student
1-1. If you maintain your affiliation outside NIG, please visit this page to apply for Special Collaborative Research Student.
1-2. To get enrolled in the graduate school associated with our institute NIG (namely SOKENDAI), please visit this page to read the details about the admission procedure.
1-3. If you are interested in a short stay at our lab for 6 weeks (normally in June & July), please visit this page (as a exemplar source of information from an earlier year) to know the details about NIG-Intern program.
Postdoc
2-1. If you expect to get funded by the NIG Postdoctoral Fellow, please visit this page.
2-2. If you expect to get funded by the national funding agency JSPS, please visit this page.

Any researcher interested to visit us for collaboration
3-1. An opportunity for foreign researchers is available in a part of the program NIG-JOINT (more precisely, NIG-JOINT International, abbreviated into 'NIG-JOINT I'). Under this program, a successful applicant can cover (a part of) her or his travel cost.
